1. General provisions

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data CS2 Team Finder may process, for what purposes, and what rights users have.

The policy applies to the website, web application, Telegram bot, and other CS2 Team Finder interfaces. The service may use authentication via email and password, Steam, Telegram, VK ID, and Yandex ID.

2. Data controller

Personal data controller: individual Igor Sergeevich Kulgachev, INN: 920157528798.

Contact email: hello@cs2teamfinder.ru.

3. Data we may process

3.1. Account data: email; password in protected form; internal user identifier; registration date; account status; interface language; profile settings; visibility settings; and information about user consents.

3.2. Game account data: Steam ID, Steam profile link, Steam nickname, avatar; FACEIT ID, FACEIT nickname, FACEIT level, FACEIT ELO if available when Steam is linked or provided by the user; game regions; and other data available through Steam or provided by the user.

3.3. Player profile data: nickname; country or region; age or age range; game roles; maps; game goals; skill level; prime time; communication languages; communication preferences; profile description; reviews, reactions, complaints, and other reputation elements.

3.4. Telegram data: Telegram ID, username, profile name; data about connecting the web account with the Telegram bot; and Telegram onboarding status.

3.5. VK ID and Yandex ID data: when the user chooses to sign in or register, the service may receive from the selected provider the provider user identifier; the authentication provider name (VK or Yandex); first and last name or another display name if returned by the configured integration; email if returned by the provider; information about the fact and time of authentication (including creation of the sign-in method link and sign-in time); and technical information needed for secure OAuth authentication. The service does not receive or store the password for the VK ID or Yandex ID account. First and last name or another display name, if returned, may be used during authentication (including to show an account label on the registration completion screen) and are not stored as permanent player profile fields. A profile image (avatar) from VK ID or Yandex ID is not requested or stored by the current integration.

3.6. Technical data: IP address; user-agent; cookies; session ID; date and time of sign-in; technical logs; error data; and interface activity data.

3.7. Support request data: email or other contact; request text; attachments; and communication history with support.

The exact set of data depends on the features used by the user and the accounts linked by the user.

4. Processing purposes

Data is processed to register and authenticate users; create and maintain accounts; identify users; create and display player profiles; search for teammates; generate recommendations; import game data; connect the account with Steam and Telegram; link the account with the selected sign-in method, including VK ID and Yandex ID; provide support; ensure security; prevent unauthorized access and abuse; moderate content; perform the Terms of Use; comply with legal requirements; and improve the service.

5. Legal bases

Depending on the situation, processing may be based on user consent, performance of the Terms of Use, legitimate interests of the service and users, and compliance with legal obligations.

Where consent is required, the user may withdraw it in the manner described in this Policy or in the relevant consent text.

6. Public player profile

Part of the player profile may be visible to other users: nickname, avatar, game roles, maps, goals, language, region, prime time, linked game indicators, and other information selected for publication or needed for search.

The user should not add sensitive information or another person's personal data to a public profile.

7. External authentication: Steam, Telegram, VK ID, and Yandex ID

The service may receive data from Steam, Telegram, VK ID, and Yandex ID when the user signs in, registers, links an account, or takes another explicit action. FACEIT data may be imported when Steam is linked if available for the game account, or entered by the user manually. The service does not provide a separate FACEIT sign-in.

OAuth process for VK ID and Yandex ID: the user independently chooses VK ID or Yandex ID; is redirected to the provider's page; confirms transfer of the permitted data; and CS2 Team Finder receives only the data set permitted by the user and configured in the integration. CS2 Team Finder does not receive the password for the external account.

CS2 Team Finder is not part of Valve, Steam, FACEIT, Telegram, VK ID, Yandex ID, Counter-Strike, or related companies and products. Processing on the provider's side is governed by the provider's own documents.

If the user unlinks an external account, some previously received data may be retained if needed for profile operation, security, activity history, complaint handling, or compliance with law.

8. Cookies and analytics

The service uses essential cookies for website, account, security, language, and basic interface operation.

Analytics and marketing cookies may be used only if the relevant consent has been given, where such consent is required by applicable law.

More information is available in the Cookie Policy.

9. Third-party sharing

For service operation, data may be transferred or made available to hosting providers, email infrastructure providers, Steam, Telegram, VK ID, and Yandex ID authentication services, the FACEIT API when importing game data, analytics services, contractors who support the service, and public authorities in cases required by law.

The service does not sell users' personal data.

10. Cross-border transfers

When Steam, Telegram, VK ID, Yandex ID, the FACEIT API, email services, analytics, CDN, hosting, or other infrastructure are used, data may be transferred or made available outside the user's country of residence where there is a legal basis and taking into account applicable law.

11. Data retention

Data is retained while the account exists or while it is needed for the purposes described in this Policy.

External authentication data (provider identifier, provider name, linked email if available, and information about sign-in and linking time) is retained while the corresponding sign-in method remains linked to the account or while the account exists, unless earlier deletion is required by law or by the user's request.

After account deletion or consent withdrawal, some data may be retained if required by law, security, complaint handling, accounting, dispute resolution, or protection of the rights of the service and users. Deleting a CS2 Team Finder account does not delete the user's data with VK ID, Yandex ID, or other external providers.

12. Data security

The service applies organizational and technical measures to protect data from unauthorized access, loss, alteration, disclosure, and destruction.

No online service can guarantee absolute security, so the user should also keep account credentials secure.

13. Your rights

The user may request information about personal data processing, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, withdrawal of consent, and other actions available under applicable law.

Requests may be sent to hello@cs2teamfinder.ru. Withdrawal of consent or account deletion may make some features unavailable, including sign-in through linked authentication methods.

Consent withdrawal and user requests also apply to data received via VK ID and Yandex ID and stored in CS2 Team Finder. To stop data transfer from the provider, the user may also need to change settings or revoke permissions in the VK ID or Yandex ID account.

14. Users under 18

The service is intended for users who may legally use it under applicable law. If consent of a parent or other legal representative is required, the user must obtain it.

If CS2 Team Finder learns that an account was created by a user under 13 or by a minor without required consent, the account may be restricted or deleted.

15. Policy changes

CS2 Team Finder may update this Policy. The new version is published on the website with the effective date.

If changes materially affect user rights or the processing procedure, the service may notify the user through the interface, email, or another available method.
