Terms of Use
Version: 2026-07-08 · Effective date: 2026-07-08
1. General provisions
These Terms of Use govern the use of the CS2 Team Finder service.
CS2 Team Finder is a web platform and Telegram bot for finding teammates, stacks, teams, and players in Counter-Strike 2. The service helps users create player profiles, search for players by selected criteria, connect profiles with Steam and Telegram, and receive player-matching recommendations.
Service administrator: individual Igor Sergeevich Kulgachev, INN: 920157528798. Contact email: hello@cs2teamfinder.ru.
By using the service, the user accepts these Terms and agrees to follow them. If the user does not agree with the Terms, the user must stop using the service.
2. Service status
CS2 Team Finder is not part of Valve, Steam, FACEIT, Telegram, Counter-Strike, or any companies or products associated with them.
All trademarks, game names, platform names, and service names belong to their respective right holders.
3. Registration and account
To use certain service features, the user may create an account or sign in through available authentication methods: email and password, Steam, or Telegram.
The user must provide accurate information and must not impersonate another person or player.
The user is responsible for the security of their account and for actions performed through that account.
If the user detects unauthorized access to the account, the user should contact support as soon as possible.
4. Player profile
The user may create a player profile by providing a nickname, game roles, maps, search goals, prime time, communication language, region, game accounts, and other information.
Part of the profile data may be visible to other users of the service.
The user must not publish in the profile: another person's personal data without consent; insults; threats; discriminatory statements; illegal content; advertising without approval; malicious links; or false information about themselves if it may mislead other users.
5. Steam and Telegram
The user may sign in with or link Steam or Telegram for authentication, profile verification, importing game information from Steam, or connecting a web account with the Telegram bot.
When Steam is linked, the service may automatically import game data, including FACEIT data, if it is available for the Steam account. The service does not provide a separate FACEIT sign-in.
Use of Steam and Telegram is also governed by the rules of those services.
CS2 Team Finder is not responsible for availability, errors, restrictions, blocks, or changes in third-party services.
6. Player matching and recommendations
The service may use player profile data, user settings, game indicators, search filters, and platform activity to match players and generate recommendations.
Recommendations do not guarantee player quality, match outcome, user behavior, or player compatibility.
The user independently decides whether to play or communicate with other users.
7. Moderation
CS2 Team Finder may moderate profiles, complaints, reviews, and other user materials.
If rules are violated, the service may warn the user; hide or change profile visibility; delete or hide content; temporarily block the account; permanently block the account; or refuse access to certain features.
The service is not required to notify the user before moderation action if this is necessary for user or platform safety.
8. Prohibited use
The user must not: violate the law; use the service for fraud; create fake accounts; impersonate another player; use bots, scripts, parsers, or automated data collection without permission; attempt to access other accounts; disrupt the website, API, Telegram bot, or infrastructure; bypass restrictions, blocks, or moderation; publish malicious links; use the service to sell prohibited goods or services; or publish content that violates third-party rights.
9. Paid features
If paid features appear in the service, payment terms, refunds, tariffs, and limitations must be published separately or added to these Terms.
Before such terms are published, the service must not charge the user.
10. Intellectual property
The interface, design, operating logic, texts, database, software code, CS2 Team Finder brand elements, and other service materials belong to the service right holder or are used legally.
User materials remain owned by the user, but the user grants CS2 Team Finder the right to use them to the extent necessary for service operation: displaying the profile, search, recommendations, moderation, and support.
11. Liability
The service is provided "as is".
CS2 Team Finder does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation; compatibility of specific players; quality of interactions between users; match results; absence of violations by other users; or availability of Steam, FACEIT, Telegram, or other third-party services.
CS2 Team Finder is not responsible for user actions outside the platform, including game matches, voice communication, and third-party platforms such as Discord, Telegram, Steam, FACEIT, and others.
12. Account deletion
The user may request account deletion through the available interface or by contacting support at hello@cs2teamfinder.ru.
After deletion, the profile may become unavailable to other users. Some technical data may be retained if required by law, security, complaint handling, or protection of the rights of the service and users.
13. Changes to the Terms
CS2 Team Finder may update these Terms. The new version is published on the website with the effective date.
If changes materially affect user rights or obligations, the service may ask the user to accept the new version before continuing to use certain features.
